We’re delighted to wish one of clients in Swindon, Worthingtons Family Law, a happy first birthday.
Worthingtons Family Law are based at our Swindon serviced offices, Kingston House, and are a great success story.
The company was set up just over a year ago by family law solicitor Natalee Worthington, who chose Rombourne as an ideal place to locate her new business, with free parking and right by junction 16 of the M4.
Initially based in a smaller office at Kingston House, we were delighted when Natalee moved into a larger office suite, to make room for a legal secretary.
And now Worthingtons Family Law have taken on their first solicitor – Ruby Reynolds – and, as they continue to grow, may be looking to upsize yet again.
Ruby has joined Worthingtons from Wiltshire Council, where she was based in the childcare team, dealing with public law.
“We’re delighted that Ruby has joined us, she will be a great addition to our team,” said Natalee. “There was a great deal of safeguarding in the work she was doing, with very complex cases, so she brings a lot of valuable experience with her.”
Ruby said: “The cases here will be private client, rather than public, but there is quite a lot of overlap. I am also looking forward to working in more general family law, which has always been an area of interest for me.”
Natalee hopes as the company gets even busier the team may grow further, following an already very successful first year.
And being able to work at Rombourne and not from home, throughout the pandemic, has been a real bonus.
Natalee said: “Attending virtual family law hearings would be difficult if I had to be at home. I also need to be able to lock files away securely. The ability to come and go, with the office open 24/7 but totally secure, has been brilliant and it is a lovely place for clients to come into when necessary, with plenty of space to socially distance in the large meeting rooms. On a personal level, it has been great to be able to keep home and work separate.”
Ruby also benefits from Rombourne’s Swindon location. Based as she is in Bath, travelling into work is just a hop along two junctions of the M4.
“At Wiltshire Council we were working from home from the start of lockdown,” said Ruby. “It’s been great to be able to come back into the office again and get that sense of routine back.”
Danielle Mottram, Centre Manager at Rombourne in Swindon, said: “It’s been wonderful to watch how Natalee’s business has grown since she moved into our building and we’re thrilled that she has now taken on her first solicitor colleague to help. Ruby is a great addition to the team and we love having them here.
“We’re delighted to wish them a happy first birthday and look forward to watching them continue to grow and flourish.”
