Hi Elin! So tell us about yourself!

I moved to Cardiff in 2009 to begin my new adventure in University, I’m originally from a lovely part of North Wales, but I quickly adjusted to the City life and decided after graduating to stay and embrace the City girl within!

I Studied Photography for three years and with no previous experience I worked hard and achieved a 2:1, university has been a huge part of my life, from learning valuable life skills to making friends and a partner for life, I count myself very Lucky.

From Graduating I needed to support myself and used my life skills to work as a barista for 5 years, in between I would photograph various events including the Welsh BAFTA Red carpet where I photographed various welsh singers and actors including Kathrine Jenkins.

I have now been living in Cardiff for nearly 10 years! Time is flying and I try to live as full as I can, I love to explore, being outdoors and experience new cultures, I have visited many places, some of my favourites being, Toulouse, Les Gets (both in France) Cuba, Mexico, Croatia and Prague.  I’m hoping to explore further at some point, with Biarritz and Cala Tarida in Ibiza already on the cards!

There is a range of daily responsibilities such as answering calls, arranging client bookings in the meeting rooms and car park, ensuring all meeting rooms and communal areas are kept to a high standard, distributing of client’s mail and then also the tasks of setting up new clients and programming their phones as they requested. There is always something new to learn and always a challenging caller to keep me on my toes!

My prescription glasses and water bottle to keep hydrated!

What do you enjoy doing when you are not at Rombourne?
