Below Holly tells us more about her current role and career development, along with some top tips…

Hi Holly! Tell us more about your role at Rombourne, Newport.

As Centre Manager I look after 3 buildings and our lovely clients who occupy our Newport serviced offices here in Langstone.

What’s a typical day like for you at Rombourne?

A typical day in Rombourne for me is very client focused. I deal with lots of client queries, working to fulfil their various needs and requests. Although, no two days are the same, it’s important to be flexible as you never know what might crop up.

What is your favourite thing about working as a Centre Manager at Rombourne?

My favourite thing about my role is interacting with clients. It’s so important to build a relationship with people, I believe it gives a personal feel to the services that we offer. Another of my favourite things about Rombourne is the consistency of quality. I worked in our Cardiff and Newport offices from 2017 to 2019 as a receptionist and now coming back a few years later as Centre Manager it’s clear that high standards are such a huge part of the company and what it stands for.

What essentials do you take to work, and why?

Every day I make sure to bring a large water bottle to work with me to keep on my desk, I find it’s easy to forget to drink water when you’re busy. I also try to bring healthy(ish!) snacks to work to keep me going throughout the day.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not at Rombourne?

When I’m not working, I enjoy walking up mountains and nature trails with my partner and our two Labradors, Frank and Ted. And by walking, I mean getting dragged along by the dogs!

What are the main advantages of renting an office from Rombourne in Newport?

The main advantage of our Newport offices is the prime location. We’re near junction 24 of the M4, with great transport links to Cardiff, Bristol and just 5 minutes away from Newport City Centre. Which makes it an ideal spot for any business.

What would be your number 1 office etiquette tip?

You spend lots of time at your desk so make it personal and keep it tidy!
